Our Experience

Pete Mitchell After an extensive management career in the UK rail industry, specialising in health and safety, I was enticed to Dublin to assist with the set up of the citys new tram network.

With an interest in property and renovations already growing, this really threw me into the booming Irish property market, and led me to spend five years working for Sherry FitzGerald, Irelands leading name in Real Estate. I was responsible for overseas property sales and investments, including developments here in the Algarve. During this time I also successfully bought, renovated and sold several properties.

So, moving to Tavira in 2007, I again bought a property in need of renovation and modernisation. Now it is completed, I can offer my experience to help you improve, or maintain your home or investment.

After spending 15 years in the entertainment industry in acquiring and promoting new TV programmes, and with four properties bought, renovated and successfully sold under my belt, I took the plunge and left the UK 4 years ago to start up 'Extreme Algarve,' a company specialising in active holidays in the Algarve.Now, one of the highest ranking websites for activity packages, I needed to find a number of properties to accommodate my Extreme Algarve clients.Starting with just a few, I have spent the last few years successfully increasing our property inventory and increasing revenue for the owners by renting these properties out as part of our business.

As well as my own website, I advertised these properties through other rental portals but found the level of service limited and based on both myself and Pete's past experiences, we felt the need for a separate rentals website offering a specialist service to owners and holidaymakers here in the Algarve.
